Michael Winter is the executive director of the Missouri Gaming Association and former chairperson of the Missouri Alliance to Curb Problem Gambling. For more than 19 years, he has operated his own government relations and association management firm. He has represented the Missouri Gaming Association before the Missouri General Assembly and the Missouri Gaming Commission. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri and Lincoln University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in educational studies and a master's degree in business administration.


Jan Wrolstad, M. Div., is is the associate director at Mid-America Addiction Technology Transfer Center (Mid-America ATTC) located at the University of Missouri Kansas City. She has worked in the field of substance abuse education for more than 14 years. She is an administrator and trainer for Mid-America ATTC. She also holds a bachelor's degree in English. Prior to her work at Mid-America ATTC, she was a reference librarian at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, a textbook proofreader for Harcourt-Brace-Jovanovich Publishers, Inc. and a high school speech and English teacher. One of her passions is working to increase the rights of marginalized groups.

Jim Wuelfing, C.P.P.-R., N.R.P.P., is the owner of the New England Center, a company dedicated to quality training and technical assistance services. His many specialties include: prevention, community development, cultural competency, curriculum development, strategic planning, peer education, stress management and problem gambling prevention. He has also co-written and co-trained the workshop, "Racism of the Well-Intended." He has been on the faculty of the New England School of Alcohol Studies for 12 years. He is an online faculty member for the Addiction Transfer of Technology Center at Brown University. He received his bachelor's degree from Holy Cross College.

Mark Vander Linden, M.S.W., is the executive officer of the Office of Gambling Treatment and Prevention at the Iowa Department of Public Health, where he oversees all problem gambling services for the state. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa and a master's degree in social welfare from University of California, Berkeley. He has a wide range of clinical social work and administrative experience working with children and families, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS and problem gambling.

Jennifer Zorland, Ph.D., C.P.H., is the research, evaluation and consultation coordinator at Georgica State University. Jennifer received her Ph.D. in community psychology, as well as a graduate certificate in public health with a concentration in epidemiological methods from Georgia State University (GSU). She currently serves as the coordinator of GSU's pathological gambling research team, in addition to providing consultation to community organizations and agencies. Her research focuses on the assessment and prevention of problem gambling among veterans and individuals involved with the criminal justice system. She is skilled at both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, and she has extensive experience in program evaluation.

Janet Zwick, L.B.S.W., has more than 35 years of experience in leadership within public health settings. She is the owner of Zwick Healthcare Consultants, LLC. She is also a private consultant partnering with the University of Wisconsin, JBS International, Inc., Prairielands Addiction and Technology Transfer Center and United Community Services. In addition to being published in various publications, she is also a member of numerous committees and boards including: the Iowa Substance Abuse Research Consortium, Midwest Counter Drug Training Center, Command Spanish and Prairielands Addiction Technology Transfer Center.
