| Jon E. Grant, M.D., M.P.H., J.D., is an associate professor of psychiatry at the University of Minnesota and co-directs a clinic for impulse control disorders at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Grant completed a law degree from Cornell University, a medical degree from Brown University and a master's degree in public health from Harvard University. He is the author of Stop Me B ecause I Can't Stop Myself, a book on impulse control disorders, and editor of Pathological Gambling: A Clinical Guide to Treatment and Textbook of Men’s Mental Health. Grant’s research is funded by the National Institutes of Mental Health. |

Rina Gupta, Ph.D., ., is a practicing child psychologist and assistant professor of school/applied child psychology, in the department of educational and counseling psychology at McGill University. Gupta has published widely and focused much of her research on social policy work in the area of youth gambling issues.
Gupta is on the editorial board of the Journal of Gambling Studies and is co-director of the McGill University Youth Gambling Research & Treatment Clinic. Gupta is also included with the International Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and High-Risk Behaviors. Gupta has numerous publications in the field of youth gambling and has provided expert testimony before a number of provincial and federal commissions in Canada, United States, South Africa and Singapore. She is the recipient of the 2006 National Center for Responsible Gaming Young Investigator award.

Michael Hanes, M.A.T., LPC, has been published numerous times in national and international journals. He is author of the book, “Roads to the Unconscious: A Manuel for Understanding Road Drawings.” He is a faculty member at Phoenix University and guest lecturer at the University of Oklahoma. He has worked with the mental health and AOD populations for over 20 years. Currently, he is director of continuous quality improvement and medical records at Red Rock BHS and has been a therapist at the Oklahoma County Detention Center for over eight years. |

| Wes Hays, B.S.C.S., has worked as a system administrator / software engineer in the Center for the Application of Substance Abuse Technologies at the University of Nevada Reno for the past four years. Hays has a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Nevada. He has prior experience in database-driven web application development in both Linux and Windows-based environments utilizing various technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, Prototype, AJAX, JSP, ASP, PHP, Ruby on Rails, Apache, MySQL and PostgreSQL. Additionally, he has experience with database administration, groupware and intranet productivity systems, creating and managing listserv’s, developing/conducting online courses and conference management systems. |

| Nancy Heller, M.A., LMHP, returned to Nebraska state government employment in 2007 after an eight-year absence, during which she completed a master's degree in counseling from Grace University, while working as a general mental health and substance abuse counselor in a variety of settings. Her current job includes contract monitoring and point of contact for two of Nebraska’s behavioral regions, as well as treatment coordinator for the Gambler’s Assistance Program. Heller's work experience also includes 25 years in various capacities in the field of human resources within Nebraska state government. |

Dean Hestermann, M.A., is corporate director of public affairs for Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. In his current position, he provides strategic guidance for the company on a variety of public policy and corporate social responsibility issues, including responsible gaming. He has been with Harrah's in various communications, government relations and issues management positions since 1992. He is a recipient of The Chairman's Award, the company's highest honor and in 2005 was named one of "25 People to Watch" by Global Gaming Business magazine. He serves on the board of directors of the National Council on Problem Gambling, the editorial advisory board of the American Gaming Association’s Responsible Gaming Quarterly and on the editorial board of Harvard Medical School's Worldwide Addiction Gambling Education Report .
Prior to joining Harrah's, he was a research associate with the University of California's Public Policy Research Organization, where he specialized in social impact assessment, environmental law and policy, organizational behavior and urban planning. His professional experience also includes environmental and social impact assessment for the planning center, an urban planning consulting firm based in southern California. He has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Rhodes College, a master's degree in social ecology from the University of California and has completed coursework for a doctorate degree in social ecology. He has published several articles and chapters in the fields of casino gaming, urban planning and social impact assessment.

Jean Holthaus, M.Ed., LSCSW, KCGC, is a licensed clinical social worker who is program director for senior prevention intervention counseling education. Holthaus is current president of the Kansas Coalition on Problem Gambling, serves on the board of directors of the National Council on Problem Gambling, author of SAGE training (addresses problem gambling among older adults) and is a Kansas certified gambling counselor. |

| Kelli Hood, M.A., is a therapist at the YWCA St. Louis Regional Sexual Assault Center. She provides individual and group therapy to survivors of sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse. In addition she is a registered substance abuse professional in Missouri. She has been providing services for clients with co-occurring disorders for over five years. |

| David Jacobson, M.S.W., LCSW, author, professional speaker and social worker, has been the recipient of numerous honors including a USA Book News Finalist Award, the Flashnet Marketing President’s Award, a Joy Mask from the Korean Broadcasting System and a National Hero Overcoming Arthritis Award from the Arthritis Foundation for unicycling 50 miles in spite of his painful arthritis. |

| Robert Kerksieck, LMSW, ACADC, is the health facilities surveyor for the gambling treatment programs at the Iowa Department of Public Health. He holds a master’s degree in counseling and has a wide range of clinical social work, counseling and administrative experience since 1982, he has worked with children and families, adults, substance abuse and problem gambling. |

| Marilyn Lancelot has been a member and a national trustee of a twelve-step program for compulsive gambling since January 1991. In 1992, Marilyn and three friends, met in her apartment and started the first women preferred twelve-step compulsive gambling meeting. For ten years she has been publishing an Internet newsletter, Women Helping Women, focusing on issues related to female compulsive gamblers. In March of 2007, Lancelot published a book titled Griped by Gambling. |
